The new school year just recently started and, with it, again a busier daily life for many of us. One of my nieces just began her first year of middle school - she's eleven years old - and last week she was with us for a few hours doing her homework. At a certain time she came to me with a serious face and told me about a small incident that happened between her and a girlfriend. I listened and let the story sink in for a while, wondering what I could say.
