Dearest eNews readers,
Last summer I gave a lovely 100-piece wooden puzzle as a present to a friend who I knew actually hates to do jigzaw puzzles. A bold move on my part I thought, but, after all, that puzzle was really so beautiful!
During the months that followed she managed to solve that puzzle and even bought more similar ones. Every time she finishes one she sends me a picture of it. She says she does these puzzles really slow and as a kind of meditative exercise, as a practice for concentration and patience and as a mirror for becoming aware of emotional, mental and physical patterns.
I myself often think that my life is like a kind of puzzle too, a search for how to piece together everything I have to do - caring for my sister Laura, the work for Mayil, the daily chores and problems - and in the meantime of course also the inner work we all should do. At blessed moments I feel the joy of all the puzzle pieces seemingly falling into place, however, not long afterwards that feeling can already seem far gone, with life going forward with its regular ups and downs. I found a marvellous text by Master Morya on just this subject. Probably recognizable and hopefully inspiring for you too!
As for international news, next week I will be in London (see below). If you happen to be in the area too, it would be great to meet up, have a chat and get to know each other!
