January 2019

--

Dearest eNews readers,

At the end of December I had a dream in which a gigantic hurricane was coming, but together with a group of other people I had been warned and we were able to go into a kind of restaurant for shelter. This building had been especially built for this purpose, it was very strong and shaped like a round dome. Most of the dome was made out of thick glass panels so that we could see the horizon and the whole sky with the approaching mass of clouds. When the hurricane finally reached us we could see through the windows how a fierce wind sprang up but inside we could hear no sound, it was still completely silent. Feeling anxious and insecure about what this fierce natural force would do, we too were quiet. Just outside the window, on the grass, a man was sitting in a chair playing a harmonium while singing a devotional song. We couldn't hear him through the glass but could see that the wind wasn't touching him at all, not even his robe stirred. I knew he didn't need our dome anymore and, deeply impressed, I too started singing.

When I woke up I immediately thought of the Master Morya pendant around my neck. A dome! That's the word I had been searching for already for weeks now...instead of umbrella. The symbol at the top of the pendant is not an umbrella - an umbrella is far too small and unstable, it can just blow away or turn inside out in the wind. A DOME...that's what it is. A dome of silence, of inner space and tremendous protection!

The website text has been adjusted to include the correct word.  eRegards from Marie

Meditation for the full moon of 21st January 2019

Master Morya,

"There is no time to lose. Try to look and see what you can do within your own inner self. Meaning: if you have no thoughts, this is good, for then if a thought comes to you, you will know that it came to you. Try to become aware of the silence that is within you.

If there is a moment when you have to wait and you have nothing to do, use this time to look at what is happening around you, assimilate it, try to describe what you see and then let it go. Go within yourself, let everything go, and try to repeat the name of the Divine. Then remember what you saw before and compare it to how you now see your surroundings.

Notice what happens to you when you are busy with these things. This is a calm way of learning to observe, to look, to dare to live. Each moment of the day can be special, because you can learn to understand things. You can look at the gestures people make. You can look at the way they behave. There is so much you can observe, assimilate and bring to your awareness. It also teaches you how to handle yourself. This is very important, to always maintain this peace and tranquillity in every situation. Not to get upset when you see people doing something wrong or fighting or being in a panic or whatever else they may be doing.

You should be able to see the world as it is, without letting it upset you. Despite the fact you can see all the roar and rattle of the world, stay calm, bring your emotions to rest. Try to find peace, and yet look around you at everything, and then again let it go.

Know that in the stillness within yourself you are not alone. This is also very important. Be aware that you are not alone, that you are never alone; you must try to discover this for yourself. You can feel lonely and yet come to realize you are not alone. Because by conversing with your innermost self, you will receive answers to your questions and you will feel a presence in your own life.

In reality you are never alone. This is something very important you should realize. There are always beings around you and you can always make contact with many of these beings. But first you must try to look within yourself. This implies that you can become aware of this silence, this stillness, this peace expanding within you, which actually means you are creating the space to admit this contact. When you reach the peaceful quiet within yourself, you are creating a stillness, an island of tranquillity, a dome." Morya Wisdom 4: Trust in yourself
