Dearest eNews reader,

Some circus acrobats acquired their skills very early on from their parents and home environment. Humm...well, there aren't many like that I suppose?  No wonder they are 'artists' and we look upon them with admiration, or else we might even think it a bit creepy that someone can walk on a tightrope and even perform all kinds of stunts while doing so, juggling perhaps or dancing.....

Yes practice is needed, first close to the ground, by falling and picking oneself up again and not giving up. Practice makes art.

The same goes for the human acrobatics we all need to learn: how do I use my intellect, how do I survive my emotions, how do I manage my corporeality? In other words: how do I keep my balance between heaven and Earth. Moreover, there is not only ourselves to take into account, solo on a desert island. On the contrary, the rope is slack and moves in all directions and I have to be able to compensate that agitation with my body, with my feelings, and with my thoughts. If I want to stay standing in the world it can be quite scary and terrifying at times.

But in the meantime I’d like to share – as an informal source of inspiration – how I usually try to stay on my feet in our wide world.

Because I’d prefer never to make mistakes, which in itself is impossible – falling and getting up again, remember? – I pick a “Morya card” whenever I have a doubt, and sometimes, when I feel like having an actual conversation with Master Morya. I pick several cards, one after the other, and He guides me to the nub of my problem with a kind of calm attention. It has never yet let me down. I also have other means to keep loving life despite difficulties: I think of an animal, one that I recently saw or one that just comes to mind, and then focus on its qualities, its symbolism. I don’t go to extremes, just whatever comes. For example, the playful squirrel tells me to take life less seriously, the nearly invisible fox always knows a way out of trouble, the blackbird sings its own song, without complexes. This gives strength and space and is usually enough to turn the tide.

My final tip is this one: I walk a small distance on an imaginary line, in the house or outside, and I ask for two Angels to help me and to hold my hands and guide me on my way. After that, I light a little candle. This is blissful and always helps.

These are unpretentious rituals that requires the freedom of a child totally wrapped up in its play. eRegards from Lydia

Inspiration for the full moon of 5th October 2017

Master Morya,

whatever you do makes a difference. The way you speak with your neighbour makes a difference. If you put someone down when you speak then you will go down with them. If you lift someone up when you speak then you will also be lifted up together with them. And when you begin living on a higher level you will consequently also receive different information, different insights; different realities will come to you, will be brought to you; in other words, you will experience a different energy from which you will also gain new insights.

Be honest with yourself; where you stand is where you stand, and you shouldn't be thinking: "Yes, but I can't understand it." No: there is very much that you are able to understand, albeit not everything. Therefore, when you look at someone you might feel disappointed either because you see that this other person is no further than where they are and that despite all you have done for them they still wouldn't be able to understand, or otherwise because you see where someone stands and you would also like to be where they are and you feel jealous. In both cases the reaction is of course not good.

Know that now and then it is good to be able to let go of people. You can keep wanting the best for them but don't go along with them in their lives, in their evolution. Hold on to those things happening within you and to the reality of your own life.

And yet you should be able to share things in a very honest manner, but without getting stressed, without thinking: 'It has to be this and it has to be that.' Because if you are going to determine this with your intellect, with your thoughts, with your ideas, with your ideals, then you might miss the reality. This can cause tension between people. One person has a certain ideal and the other has a totally different ideal, and speaking about it makes it all go wrong. Then, simply because they are using different words, people fail to understand one another and, were they to use all the same words, then these words would still have another energetic content, because the reality concealed behind them is a different reality due to the fact it is being experienced differently.

Nevertheless, there doesn't need to be a conflict in the contacts between people because the heart understands everything. When you live from your heart you will be able to appreciate the other even though they are doing different things and even if they are living with other values.
