February 2017

--

Dearest eNews readers,

Now that the energy of 2017 is well settled, we could make some good resolutions in a novel way. This could be by asking your heart what it thinks is important for you this year. Your heart may tell you something unexpected and something you hadn't yet thought about.  The procedure: a few minutes of silence in bed before getting up in the morning, and pen and paper. eRegards from Lydia

Meditation for the full moon of 11th February 2017

Master Morya,

“Your first reaction should always be to come to a state of rest - despite the difficulties, despite the fact that you are confronted with certain problems you cannot deal with at the moment.  You will see:  If you can come to rest within yourself the problems will, for the larger part, solve themselves.  This is always the case; it’s not that it just happens once, but always. When you are in a state of rest you are able to situate the problem, to set it in its proper place and clarify it for yourself. Hence, when you are going through a new experience let your first reaction be one of coming to a state of rest, and know: 'This is a part of my life', because it is your experience.  Do this also with great, maybe even fantastic experiences: first come to a state of rest.

Whatever your experience may be, whether it is negative or positive, you have to find this peace, this rest, because there is not a single cause that can have a negative effect if you can relax and bring yourself to this state of rest.

You should know that whatever happens in the world, negative or positive, it can always take people forward. When you can be at peace in the experience, you learn from it and are able to stand up to it so that you can go forward. When you don't do this, whatever you haven't been able to process will keep resurfacing at irrelevant moments. This is what can confuse you and what can sometimes cause you to take wrong decisions.

Realize that it is possible to become calm during an experience and that this enables you to gain a broader view of your life, of the life of the world and of the life of the greater whole. This peace is very important and is a decisive element in bringing life to expression.

When you are centered within yourself, in the profoundness of your own being, things can come to the fore that complement your experience.  When you are centered within yourself you can feel an answer there to what is happening. It may be that the answer comes spontaneously from within you, letting you know its significance, why you had to have this experience.  When you are in stillness you can find answers within yourself.  Therefore, when you have experiences, outer or inner experiences, it's important to step outside of the tension of the experience.

This is because a new experience always involves a certain tension, a kind of tension-point that is there due to the fact that another energy is coming into place. Experiences always involve an energy. When a new energy comes into your life - to teach you something about life, about yourself, about things - then you can advance forward to the extent that you can accept it.”
