Dearest eNews reader,
Mayil Publishing House is releasing several new projects this fall. In Dutch, Morya Wisdom 1 will be coming out as audiobook, as narrated by Geert himself in 2008. Mid-December we are also planning the release of “Morya Kracht 3: Mens en maatschappij”, the third book in the ‘Morya Energy series’ (the follow-up series of ‘Morya Wisdom’). It’s a book about how to find your own way while staying in tune with other people and society, and how to deal with daily situations, work, problems, and so on.
And then of course there are the two new English publications: Morya Wisdom 3 and 4, coming out next month. Have a look at the excerpts you can find on the English website. In Polish we are planning to update the Morya and Mayil websites soon so that they match the English ones, and in the meantime we have Morya Wisdom 1, the Morya Wisdom Workbook and the first set of Morya cards available for you. For our German readers, we hope to publish the very first “Morya Weisheit” book around next spring. Exciting developments to look forward to! eRegards from Marie |
Meditation for the full moon of 8th October, 2014.
Master Morya,
One goal is not the other. It makes a big difference whether someone dares summon and use an important energy in their life or whether someone is busy with trivial things and then looks at the culture from that viewpoint. If you look at art, for example, you can observe much that is lacking inspiration, but you can also observe great forces at work. And you should recognize the difference because not everything that glitters is gold. Not everything that is presented as art is art, not everything that man creates is beautiful, magnificent and good. And this calls for a fine sense of discernment, to be able to know for yourself which powers are at work. If they are powers of love, truth, honesty, integrity, fidelity and peace, if they are powers of the great values of life then you will see the culture flourishing. But this calls for people who have placed these powers in their hearts and can reach them there.
The foundation of the life of a nation is to be found in your heart. A person can mean a great deal for his people, to his society, but in order to do this he has to – and here there is no alternative – he has to allow these immense powers to be born in his heart. He has to be able to reach and draw upon these powers there. This human material, so to speak, that is reading this book here before Me is so wonderful that I must work with it. So I say, “I must not waste my time, I must awaken these people and I must work with them.”
You can do this too. You can go to people and you can, out of your own heart, kindle an important power that will then burn in your heart and with which you can work. This power will then continue to grow and lead you to happiness and from there an even greater power will ensue. This, you must know, makes for a totally different sort of life than the kind you would have if you didn’t do this. So, it is up to you. As in the parable, you either use your talent or you bury that talent in the ground and don’t use it, in which case you will get nowhere. So when you have to justify yourself to people who come to you or to your own soul – for it comes to the same thing – all of a sudden something happens and you say, “Now I need power” and you don’t know where to get it from because at that moment you have none. This is because you have never summoned it. Instead you have said to yourself, “I have to hide it somewhere, I mustn’t use it for I must be careful not to lose it.”
But that is not the way to deal with power, for power is something that is alive. It comes from God’s reserve, from God’s power and this power is a lasting and changeable one. No one can ever take possession of a power. You may use it any time but you can never possess it. You have to work with it. It should orientate your life in a certain direction so that you can say, “This is the way I want my life to go and with such and such powers.” If you do this you will immediately become both more active and much more peaceful. There is a reason for this, because when you find peace within yourself you are able to experience a greater stillness. Yet by reaching that stillness you will become much more active. This may seem paradoxical but by experiencing that stillness you create another pole in yourself. Master Morya
