Within the darkness of the egg, the baby bird longs for the vast open skies. Will it be born in a lush forest where it can soar to high branches? Or will it live to spend a less ideal life in a less idyllic place, with fewer perspectives? In any case, carried by its dream and its longing it will grow a perfect plumage for itself. Every tree, while still a seed, wants to grow big, old or just really beautiful. And the flower knows, even before it sprouts, that the sun will never abandon it. The baby in its mother’s warm belly, intertwined with the energy of Mother Earth, develops, grows and strives for perfection.
Dearest eNews reader, feel blessed with what you have and enter solemnly into this New Age. Your soul dreams of feeling connected with others across the whole of the world, your soul longs for the light of the Earth and the light of the Masters. Hold on tight to this beautiful dream of your soul and put her longing right on top of your priority list. The rest will take care of itself. Summer e-regards from Lydia |
Meditation for the full moon of 12th July, 2014.
Master Morya,
Many things are profoundly present in your life, many beautiful things that can reach you through ordinary everyday events; things with which you can be very happy and that have been given to you to experience, as it were. You can experience the Divinity in your everyday life, in a simple way, by thinking of God and remembering the Greatness that is concerned with you.
You don’t need to do important things for this. You don’t need to go all out to achieve a particular result or to go running from one thing to another, this is not what is asked of you. But it is necessary to be very alert, very open to whatever happens, in order to see what you could change, what you could improve, in your own way. (…)
There is an inner force that brings people together. When you are together with others, in a spiritual group for instance, be aware that this is not coincidental. You might think: ‘but I made the decision, I heard about it from him or her and I decided to go for it and so now I know what it is.’ But actually there is a knowing, there is ‘Someone’ who knows you and who gave you the impulse, someone who speaks from within your heart, saying: ‘Do it, go ahead, it’s good.’ And if you follow this you can be sure that you will encounter good things, that you will meet good people, experience nice things; things that are, in a certain sense, perhaps ideal.
On the other hand, you are not obliged to live with great ideals. You can give preference to the ordinary things of life, because a great ideal can only become reality through ordinary everyday things. Try to concentrate on what is before you now, give your attention to the person who is with you now. Try to relax and to realize: ‘it’s good that this person is here with me now’, whomever he or she may be. Don’t try to change him or her, but know: there is something divine in this person. Search for it, with the core of your being, with the love in your heart. Explore, search for this Divinity in the other and, if you find it, you can help it to come out, you can stimulate it by saying: ‘What you are doing is good; what a fine thing that you thought about this; it’s nice that you are working in this way.’
Then you can be sure you are allowing the stream to flow in your life and that you are reinforcing the stream in the lives of others. At this level we are not in competition with one another. We are brothers and sisters, we belong to the same Being, to the one God. In the core of our beings we can give one another a hand, we can understand one another in a profound way, we can help make our lives less difficult by accepting each other as we are.
The difficulty in this life is that we are in a kind of school situation: ‘what is being given to me to learn on this earth, what kind of education am I receiving, what lessons do I have to learn?’ This is not simple. Mostly you cannot make this out for yourself. Just like in school, it’s not the student who decides: ‘this and that is what I should learn.’ It’s the teachers who present you with lessons: ‘this is the lesson for today, pay attention to this, maybe you didn’t understand this well enough, look it over once again so that you can learn it.’
This is also the way you can learn from life. Life is one big school. It may seem to be completely chaotic but in reality it isn’t. In reality you can see the greatness of life in the little things.
